Sri Subbaraya and Narayana College has blossomed into 75 years old mature educational institution. Honoured elite of Narasaraopet were brought together under the canopy of one administrative unit on an auspicious occasion and it was their munificence and zeal that enabled them to Establish this college in 1950 during the early years of Independence, dedicated to excellence and committed to achieving break through in the realm of Higher Education. In fact this is the first Degree college in Palnadu Region of Guntur (Dist.) to offer Higher Education that has an incredible and unblemished history to its credit. In fact the college which was started with 250 students, 15 Teaching Staff and a few Non-Teaching staff members grew into a formidable one with about 3000 students more than 150 Teaching and Non Teaching staff members successfully competing with the best ones in the state. It is a matter of pride and pleasure to state that the college was accredited by NAAC at `A’ grade and it has bagged many awards and rewards at state level and National level. The institution is so fortunate to have members with great achievements on its Alumni. There are Ex Ministers, IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS officers, Vice-Chancellors of various universities, Ex chairman AP State Council of Higher Education, Judges, excellent Doctors, Professors, Managing Directors of various National Companies, Revenue Divisional officers, Mandal Revenue officers so on so forth among old students of this college.

It is with a deep sense of pride and a profound responsibility that I welcome
you to S. S & N. College.
Education is not just about earning a degree; it is about building character,
fostering innovation, and preparing oneself to serve society. My family has been
intertwined with the legacy of this institution for decades—my father, Sri Nagasarapu
Rama Rao garu, dedicated 51 years of his life to this college. Following in his
footsteps, my mission is to ensure that our students receive an education that is both
modern in its approach and rooted in strong ethical values.
Beyond the classroom, my experiences in public service—specifically serving
as the Municipal Chairperson of Narasaraopet (2014-2019)—have taught me that
true success lies in the impact we leave on our community. Whether it was
achieving the 2 nd rank in Andhra Pradesh for the Swachha Bharat initiative or
providing clean drinking water to our colonies, the goal has always been the same:

It is a privilege to welcome you to S. S & N. College. Our institution has long
stood as a beacon of learning in Narasaraopet, and as President, my goal is to
ensure we continue to nurture the next generation with the same dedication that has
defined our community for decades.
My journey has always been rooted in the spirit of Narasaraopet. From my
early days as a commerce graduate and a gold merchant to my lifelong commitment
to public service, I have believed that leadership is defined by how much we give
back. Whether through my decades of work with the Gold, Silver, and Diamond
Merchants Association, I have learned that progress is only possible when we work
together with integrity and compassion.
At S. S & N. College, we don’t just focus on academic results; we focus on the
human element. We draw inspiration from the values of selflessness—much like the
spirit of Annadana that guides my work at Kotappakonda and Ahobila. We want our
students to leave these halls not just as skilled professionals, but as noble and
